I’ve been a little quiet lately, haven’t I? In several ways really. I reckon I oughta tell what’s going on. First off, I’m alright overall, I’ve just been a very busy boi. I’ve got a second job now, it’s a night time gig as a warehouse monkey. Running around for hours on a walkie-riding jack, it’s kinda nice really. Saved my house, since my other job is on a slow spell, as is typical in the summer. So I’m happy for that, I like not being chronically broke for a change.
But it’s left me quite busy at night. Sometimes even past two in the morning on the busier nights where I’m not sent home early. It’s been cutting into my art time a bit on those later nights. I’ve got a few artyfarts ready to post though, including the last of Paper Mario month’s haul.
Speaking of that... It kinda just died didn’t it? It was kinda doomed from the moment I signed on to the new job, I’m sorry to say. I’m not sure if I can keep it up working two jobs, even with one real slow currently. I may continue to spin the wheel, but do it a little differently, I’ll cross that bridge in a little while when September rolls around.

I really do feel bad about it though. Every year I do something like this, trying to start up an ambitious project, and then faltering halfway through. Frickin’ Finbarr Calamitous over here. <X3
But it makes me feel like a failure, I wanna go big, but always wind up going home instead. Comics, fan friday, wheel of torture, it all ends up the same. And while the comic is still alive, I’ve long lost interest, the samey repetitive scene is proving to be a drudgery to draw, even with my many shortcuts with the backgrounds. Feelings of failure and despair are something I struggle with often, always have, if I may be be open for a moment. I don’t normally care to share my griefs publicly, but the passing of a dear loved one has left me rather vulnerable and bleak the last couple of weeks. Figured I’d share for once. And I appreciate you listening.

So that’s where I’ve been, figured an explanation would be appreciated, at least by some. Arts to come, will post something later tonight after I get back from a day out with my parental units. Got a few things ready to rumble, and a few more things almost finished, some of which I’m real proud of. =3

1. Despite not actually being a kid, he uses his young appearance to his advantage whenever possible, for better and for worse.
2. Though he's quite fond of torturing people with his smelly feet, he tends to be very hygienic overall, only building up a reek when he's on the hunt.
